Prosecutor's Office held a low-cost food drive to celebrate the 80th
anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office, which is celebrated every September
2nd, and to commemorate the Indonesian Independence Day on August 17, 2025.
The event took place at the Padjajaran soccer field,
Jalan Raya Karangtengah, Cibadak District, Sukabumi Regency, on Tuesday (August
12, 2025). The opening ceremony was attended by Sukabumi Regent Asep Japar, accompanied
by the Regional Secretary, the Regional Leadership Communication Forum
(Forkopimda), and other regional officials.
The event began with a virtual opening of the Low-Cost
Market Movement by the Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, directly
from the High Prosecutor's Office in Bandung. The event continued with a tour
of affordable food stalls and the distribution of 100 basic food packages to
beneficiaries.
"The affordable food bazaar is a collaboration
between the District Attorney's Office and the Sukabumi Regency Government,
aimed at meeting the community's basic needs," said the Head of the
Sukabumi Regency District Attorney's Office, Romiyasi, to sukabumiNews, Tuesday
(August 12th).
The District Attorney hopes this activity will help
control inflation, maintain food prices, and provide concrete solutions for the
provision and distribution of affordable food.
Meanwhile, Sukabumi Regent Asep Japar stated that this
activity is part of the Sukabumi Regency Government's strategy to assist the
community by maintaining stable food supplies and prices.
"The affordable food bazaar is also held to
encourage the economic development of micro, small, and medium enterprises.
Furthermore, it supports the realization of a prosperous Sukabumi Regency,"
said Asep Japar.
