sukabumiNews.net, PALABUHANRATU – Sukabumi Regent H. Asep Japar (Asjap) reiterated his commitment to remaining within the national and provincial development vision, with synergy between sectors as the primary driver.
The regent emphasized this commitment in his remarks
at the 26th Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) Plenary Session for
the 2025 Session Year, held in the Sukabumi Regency DPRD plenary meeting room
on Monday (July 21, 2025).
The plenary meeting, chaired by the Speaker of the
Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), Budi Azhar Mutawal,
accompanied by Deputy Speaker II H. Usep and Deputy Speaker III Ramzi Akbar
Yusuf, today focused on making decisions on the Draft Regional Regulation
(Raperda) concerning the Sukabumi Regency Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD)
for 2025-2029 and signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on amendments to
the General Budget Policy (KUA) and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (PPAS)
for the 2025 fiscal year.
In his remarks, the Sukabumi Regent explained that the entire process of drafting the amendments to the KUA and PPAS had undergone intensive discussions between the DPRD Budget Agency and the Regional Government Budget Team, adhering to the principles of transparency and accountability.
"This agreement is not merely a formality. It
represents a collective responsibility to ensure that development programs are
effective, on-target, and have a real impact on the community," said the
Regent.
The Regent continued, explaining that the adjustments
to the KUA and PPAS refer to Home Affairs Ministerial Regulation No. 15 of 2024
concerning guidelines for preparing the 2025 Regional Budget (APBD). Once an
agreement is reached, the regional government will issue a circular as a
guideline for preparing changes to the RKA-SKPD and DPA-SKPD.
More than just an administrative document, the
ratified 2025-2029 RPJMD represents the first stage of the 2025-2045 RPJPD
(Regional Long-Term Development Plan).
The Sukabumi Regency Government is adopting the overarching
theme "Improving and Strengthening Socio-Economic and Governance in
Leading Sectors" as the foundation for the region's transformation toward
inclusive and sustainable development.
"We recognize that successful development depends
not only on planning but also on innovation and collaboration between all
elements of government, the business world, academia, the public, and the
community," he said.
The Regent emphasized his commitment to remaining
within the national and provincial development vision, with synergy between
sectors as the primary driver.
This RPJMD is also a crucial instrument for realizing
the vision of Sukabumi Mubarakah (advanced, superior, cultured, and blessed).
