sukabumiNews.net, SUBANG – Sukabumi Regent Asep Japar and Mayor Ayep Zaki attended an important coordination meeting with the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Tito Karnavian, and the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi.
This coordination meeting aimed to strengthen synergy
between regional heads in West Java to accelerate regional development.
The coordination meeting took place in Lembur Pakuan,
Subang Regency, on the evening of Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and was attended by
heads of regional government agencies (OPD) of West Java Province and regional
heads from across West Java.
In his remarks, Minister of Home Affairs Tito
Karnavian expressed his appreciation for the encouraging economic growth
achievements of West Java province.
He highlighted the province's demographic potential,
with 69.75 percent of the population being of productive age.
He also emphasized the need to optimize natural
resources to support sustainable development. Tito reminded that successful
development must be accompanied by efficient and transparent governance.
Governor Dedi Mulyadi revealed the enormous potential
for development in the tourism industry in West Java. He encouraged regional
heads to protect nature while maximizing existing resources.
In line with this, Sukabumi Mayor Ayep Zaki also
expressed his commitment to accelerating regional budget (APBD) realization and
playing an active role in poverty alleviation and sustainable human
development.
"This forum is expected to strengthen synergy
between the central and regional governments, thereby addressing existing
development challenges," said Mayor Ayep Zaki.
Meanwhile, the Sukabumi Regent stated that he had also discussed this matter with the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) at a recent plenary meeting.
