The Regent emphasized that Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a crucial foundation for developing a people's economy.

invited all parties to support the progress of Micro, Small, and Medium
Enterprises (MSMEs), especially through synergy and collaboration, which must
be considered key.
The Regent also emphasized that MSMEs are a crucial
foundation for developing a people's economy. He stated that MSMEs have proven
to be the most resilient and flexible sector amidst global dynamics and
economic challenges.
"Therefore, the Sukabumi Regency Government
remains committed to providing facilities, empowerment, and digital
transformation so that MSMEs can move up a class," he said at the Kick Off
of the Sukabumi Regency MSME Upgrade Program in 2025 at the Nusa Putra
University Auditorium, Thursday, July 24, 2025.
He added that this MSME upgrade program symbolizes the
need to encourage micro-enterprises to ensure their continued competitiveness
and growth.
"As a concrete form of support, we have launched
SIKUMIS (Sukabumi Interactive Cooperative and MSME Information System). This
innovation represents a major leap towards the digital transformation of MSMEs
in Sukabumi Regency," he said.
Furthermore, Sikumis is an effective tool for
assisting MSMEs from upstream to downstream. "Starting from legality,
financing, training, and market access," he said.
Therefore, the Regent encouraged all parties to
support the advancement of MSMEs. "Especially through synergy and
collaboration, which must be the key, so that everyone can progress together
and be strong," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Sukabumi Regency DKUKM,
Sigit Widarmadi, stated that the MSME Upgrade Program is the answer to
developing business actors, thus ensuring resilient and adaptive MSMEs in the
digital era.
"Let's synergize and collaborate to realize
independent, modern, and competitive MSMEs in Sukabumi," he concluded.
During the event, the Regent had the opportunity to
review the work of MSMEs in Sukabumi Regency.
