sukabumiNews, PALABUHANRATU – Regional Assistant II for Economic and Development Affairs of the Sukabumi Regency Secretariat, Fuji Widodo, attended the culmination of the 28th Cisolok District Fishermen's Day celebrations in 2025.
The event, titled
"The 28th Cisolok District Fishermen's Thanksgiving and Feast," was
held at the Pajagan Fish Auction Place (TPI), Cikahuripan Village, Cisolok
District, on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The moment was
enlivened by local arts and cultural performances, as well as an exhibition of
various superior micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) products typical of
Sukabumi Regency, especially from the Cisolok District area.

Asda II of the Sukabumi
Regency Secretariat, Fuji Widodo, who represented the Sukabumi Regent, stated
that this event was part of a strategy to increase tourism promotion and
develop the creative economy, particularly in the Ciletuh Geopark area.
"Currently,
Sukabumi Regency is in the post-disaster recovery phase. In addition to
physical development, holding events like this is one step in the recovery
process. Through festival celebrations, cultural performances, creative economy
products, and various attractions, we hope to provide valuable impressions and
experiences for tourists," he said.
He further explained
that this activity represents a collaborative effort from all elements of
society to realize and develop the concept of preserving the local culture of
the Cisolok coastal community.
"On behalf of
the Sukabumi Regency Government, I express my gratitude and appreciation to all
parties who care and continue to contribute to making Sukabumi even
better," he concluded.
