SukabumiNews, SUKABUMI REGENCY – Sukabumi Deputy Regent H. Andreas received a Special Working Visit (Kunker) from Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) to the Phalamarta Center, the location of the Sukabumi Regency Junior High School (SRMP), on Wednesday (September 17, 2025).
Accompanying Deputy Regent Andreas during the visit by Commission VIII were the Head of the Sukabumi Regency Education Office, Eka Nandang Nugraha, members of the Regional Apparatus Organization, and the Cibadak Sub-district Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimcam) of Sukabumi Regency.
According to the Deputy Regent, the SRMP is a demonstration of our shared commitment to realizing a progressive, just, and prosperous Indonesia.
"Through the SRMP, the government aims to provide free, quality education for beneficiary children, and in the long term, this program will be useful for improving community welfare," said the Deputy Regent.
The Deputy Regent hopes that SRMP can become an inspiring model, producing a superior and competitive generation. "We hope to strengthen cross-sector synergy. We are optimistic that this will improve the quality of education," he added.
Working Visit Aims to Gather Actual Information on Social Issues in the Community
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPRD), H. Abidin Fikri, stated that the specific working visit he and his staff conducted was to gather firsthand information on specific issues in certain regions, including observing field conditions and discussing with relevant parties.
Abidin emphasized that his team was present to ensure that strategic programs in the regions were running smoothly and on target.
"The strategic program, the People's School, aims to break the cycle of poverty through education. Let's succeed together," said H. Abidin.
The event continued with a discussion to address current issues, gather aspirations, and important matters to be brought to the national level.
